Hello and welcome to RynnCosplay.com! 11/21/2009 - YOUMACON UPDATE
Once again, Youmacon has come and gone. I had a great time at the con and got to cosplay with people that I love. My friends and I managed to pick up a few awards too, including Best Journeyman Performance, a judges award for craftsmanship and Best of Friday in the hall contest! I'm in limbo, waiting for photographers to upload photos from the con but I have posted the photos I have so far which you can find on the White Rose and Ai Ebihara costume pages. I also uploaded our Saga Frontier skit to the media section. I'll be back soon with more photos and the con report ASAP. Bye for now!
 10/06/2009 - BASIC DYE TUTORIAL
I have been getting ready for Youmacon and, for the first time, I'm making some costumes that require me to dye my own fabric. Before I dyed fabric for the first time, it always seemed very intimidating to me. For that reason, I decided to post a Basic Dyeing Tutorial over at my livejournal. Dyeing isn't rocket science but if you are considering dyeing for the first time, hopefully this tutorial will make you feel more comfortable with the process.
7/22/2009 - ACEN 2009 & FANIME 2009
Phew, finally! I've been back from Fanime for almost 2 months but real life really snuck up on me and I'm just now getting all caught up with cosplay. I attended two conventions in May, Acen and Fanime and wore lots of (new and old) costumes. I have tons of new photos up in the following galleries: Chibimoon, Rosette, Shion, Sakura, and Silent Hill Nurse. 4/22/2009 - SAKURACON 2009
I'm back from Sakuracon and happy to report that I had a great time! I didn't have any new costumes this time around but I had a great time just hanging out with my friends. We even won Best in Show for our skit, "Sora the Explorer!" For more details, feel free to check out my Sakuracon 09 con report. Next up are Acen and Fanime! The cons are coming up quick and I have a lot of sewing to do - wish me luck!
11/27/2008 - ANIME IOWA 2008
Well jeez, it's about time I update this thing - Anime Iowa was more than 3 months ago! Anyway, you can check out my Anime Iowa con report, located on the Cons page. Also, I added a page for my newest costume, SHION from Xenosaga III.
If you check out my convention schedule, you'll see I've made some changes to my con list this year. I will be going back to Anime Central but I'll also be attending Fanime. I have some new costumes planned for both of these cons and I'll be posting plans throughout the year. Bye for now!
5/28/2008 - ANIME CENTRAL 2008
Acen was absolutely amazing this year! I got to hang out with my friends from the northwest, wear some new costumes, and even ended up winning BEST IN SHOW for my skit "The Game Of Life!" I have added new content to the site
including my new KAORU costume from Ouran High School Host Club, a con report, and my planned costume list.
My next convention is Anime Iowa in August and I plan on cosplaying Shion from Xenosaga III. I think this costume will take a lot out of me and I'll be updating my livejournal with pictures of my progress. Bye for now!
4/13/2008 - SAKURACON 2008
Well, I'm back from Sakuracon and have made big updates all throughout the site! I've added two new costumes, BEATRIX from Final Fantasy IX and CHIHIRO from Spirited Away.
In addition, I've added a new skit to the media section called "Between Life and Death Note." Finally, my lenghty Sakuracon report has been added to the con section and, as usual, has a detailed description of my feelings about the con - for better or worse. :O
Next up on my list is my hometown con, Acen!
12/24/2007 - WELCOMEThanks to my lovely friend Darkain, I am now functioning under a new, more reliable domain and hope to make this site bigger and better than before! I've transfered a lot of the old content over but have also added new information and costumes including Lust, KH2 Selphie, Haruhi Suzumiya and Fighter.
