Cosplaying Orihime was always a given for me. She was one of the few characters from Bleach that I actually liked and she jumped out at me right from the start. She and I are VERY similar in a lot of ways and its such an easy costume that there was really no effort involved! And no binding?! WIN!

The pants and shirt I picked up from a thrift store and modified. (Added stripes to the pants and painted the petals on the shirt.) I was lucky enough to find the most beautiful wig on ebay and the hairpins were a gift from my friend, Joe. The shoes were a big mistake! I used spray paint to paint a pair of red clogs but it ended up chipping off almost immediately and looked awful! Hey, that's how you learn, I guess! I have since bought a pair of yellow Keds - best $4 I ever spent!

I never imagined that I would wear this costume as often as I do and I definitely never thought it would be one of the costumes that define me as a cosplayer. Pretty crazy!
