Well, in all honesty, I have only played Street Fighter a couple of times. However, I am a huge fan of Puzzle Fighter! When my boyfriend and I decided to go to Ohayocon this year, it was a very last-minute decision and thus a last-minute costume was in order.

I decided to cosplay Sakura because, 1) I already owned 75% of the fabric, 2) I already had the wig from my Haruhi costume, 3) I was on a huge Puzzle Fighter kick at the time, and, 4) my boyfriend was going as Ryu. It was very easy to make and was started and finished 2 days before the con.

I have made a lot of school girl costumes in the past and this one was no different from the rest. A fun fact: the sailor collar was actually the first thing I ever sewed by myself. It was originally meant to serve as Puchiko's collar from DigiCharat but I never quite got around to finishing that costume. I'm glad the collar finally has a purpose!

Anyway, this costume is fun, simple, and I got a shiny new pair of red chucks out of it! Win win win.
